As the administrative body of the region, CAF manages competitions, offers technical and administrative training courses while actively fostering the promotion and practice of football. The Confederation organizes championships such as the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN or AFCON), the most popular competition. It maintains very close links with FIFA in coordinating tournaments for different events such as the World Cup, Youth and Women competitions and the Olympic Games Football Tournaments.
1). Senior Manager – GS Office
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Responsibilities
- Fulfil secretarial duties, such as writing of correspondences, coordinating tasks, taking minutes, and managing files, planning of the calendar of meetings and travels.
- Prioritize and respond to all communications sent to the General Secretary’s Office in a timely manner, while ensuring that all relevant information is properly escalated, documented and filed for future reference.
- Draft various legal documents
- Manage communication between CAF Secretariat and external stakeholders
- Anticipate legal concerns from an institutional point of view
- Examine national, international, and local laws to identify any rules that must be followed and identifying conflicts that might arise
- Assist in the overall legal coordination of CAF Executive Committee and Executive Committee meetings’ organization
- Assist in the overall coordination of the organization of CAF General Assembly
- Ensure compliance with the statutory procedures for the proper conduct of CAF General Assembly
- Review and prepare meeting files
- Draft meeting minutes if necessary
- Assist in supervising the organization of CAF events and report to the General Secretary
- Act as a relay between the Head of GS Office and the operational teams
- Assist the Head of GS Office with any additional tasks necessary to deliver the organization’s strategic and administrative objectives.
Requirements (Profile)
- Master’s Degree in law.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Previous ex in an international organization.
- Fluent in English spoken and written is a must. Command of French or/and Arabic is an advantage.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and other modern IT tools.
- Organization and prioritization: Ability to manage administrative tasks under pressure.
- Communication skills: Ability to draft, format, and review legal and communication documents in English and create communication templates.
- Policy development: Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective office operations.
- Attention to detail: Ability to properly escalate, document, and file relevant information for future reference.
- Knowledge of Diplomacy and Government relations is a plus.

2). Senior Manager – Corporate Events, Hospitality and VIP Management
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational plans for Corporate Events and VIP Management
- Lead and manage the relevant teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and establishing clear accountability
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all events and VIP services
- Establish and manage digital systems for guest tracking, RSVP management, and operational efficiency
- Oversee VIP guest relations, including maintaining detailed guest profiles and managing special requirements
- Coordinate cross-departmental collaboration for major events, particularly AFCON 2025
- Develop and implement crisis management plans for handling last-minute changes
- Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, FIFA representatives, and sponsors
Requirements (Profile)
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Event Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate events and VIP management, with proven experience in international sporting events
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic operational plans
- Experience managing large-scale events (1000+ attendees)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships
- Strong knowledge of digital event management tools and systems
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
- English – C1
- Fluency in French, Arabic or Portuguese (at least one of CAF’s official languages besides English)
- Strong understanding of football industry and sporting events
- Proficiency in event management software, MS Office suite, and digital collaboration tools.
