1). Land Rig Welder

Duties & Responsibilities
- Continually strive to improve HSE performance and deliver exemplary commitment to his own working safely practices.
- Read and understand technical fabrication drawings and instruction.
- Directly responsible to vessel Chief Engineer for all welding and burning activities carried out on the Rig by themselves or by third party contractors and ensure that these are carried out in a safe manner at all times adhering to the Rig permit to work, hot work and TBRA systems.
- Directly responsible to Rig Chief Engineer for maintaining all vessel burning, cutting and welding machinery in good working order. Also for ordering of replacement parts when required.
- Where required, demonstrate the ability to organize and control the work of third parties working onboard the vessel related to welding and fabrication services.
- Select and maintain a small stock of appropriate materials onboard the vessel suitable for carrying out small scale fabrication and repairs.
- Put into practice a working knowledge of the environmental limitations imposed on vessels at sea and ensure any working being carried out does not infringe on these.

2). Land Rig Roustabout Foreman/Forklift Operation
Location: Rivers
Job type: Full-time
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise deck operations and ensure that high, safe standards of rigging are maintained.
- Ensure all lifting rigging (shackles, slings, strops etc.) are in good condition and are certified prior to use.
- Ensure that clear, unambiguous directions are given to the Forklift Driver during the movement of loads around the deck by the crane.
- Ensure that the deck crew are briefed on the work scope and that they are fully aware of any safety precautions to be observed. This includes the performance of “Toolbox talks/TRACs”.
- Ensure that all project rigging is color coded in accordance with project requirements.
- Be responsible for the control of all deck associated rigging and the re-order of consumables as well as quarantine of damaged/defective equipment.
- Control the distribution of deck radios and ensure any and all faults are reported daily.
- Liaise closely with the On-Shift Driller with regard to delegation of tasks for Roustabouts to ensure correct manning levels during operations.
- Conducts Weekly Safety Meetings with their crew.
- Ensure that Health & Safety Policies are communicated to and understood by all crew members.
- In conjunction with the Rig Manager ensure vessel deck crews are being trained to meet their training requirements as detailed in the Company’s Training Matrix, and will undertake on-site training to ensure competence of deck crew is maintained where required.
