1). Engineering Manager

Job Purpose
- To coordinate the Site, finishing and process maintenance teams in efficient manner that will attend to machine breakdowns promptly, reduce downtime and ensure maximum equipment availability for high quality products.
- To improve and sustain efficient plant maintenance support for all engineering activities
- To efficiently and effectively manage local and imported resources available for capital engineering projects
- To plan, design and execute brilliant engineering projects to improve all PZ’s operations and enhance the company’s image
- To ensure continuous productivity improvement
- To develop and improve daily support and guidance to plant engineers of all the factory and to sustain effective communication in the department
Reporting Relationships:
- Report to Head of Engineering & Projects – SC
- Responsible for Engineering Services, Finishing and process maintenance Engineers & Technicians.

Principal Accountabilities
- To ensure PPM maintenance and overhauling activities are carried out according to schedules.
- Investigate and analyse the reason of breakdown for equipment, trouble shooting and monitor performance off plants. Manage day to day maintenance/ breakdown and operational activities.
- Coordination with electrical, mechanical, instrument workshops and utilities for timely completion of maintenance jobs.
- Manage spare parts for factory equipment, control maintenance cost and energy consumption
- To assist in the coordination of all risk management activities in the site
- To manage team and individual performance through regular reviews, monitoring objectives and ensuring development needs are identified and actioned
- Takes responsibility for compliance with all EMS related activities in the department in order to prevent, reduce or control environmental pollution arising from environmental aspects identified in the department as documented in the EMS Manual, Departmental Aspect and Impacts register, EMS related SOPs and other relevant documents.
- Monitor and prepare environmental performance reports relating to the extent of compliance with EMS requirements.
Qualification, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Needed
Required Qualifications:
- B. Eng Degree in Mechanical Engineering, MSc. Mechanical Engineering an added advantage
- Computer expertise especially in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Technical/Professional Experience:
- Above 10 years minimum work experience
- Sound knowledge of engineering practices
- Projects management
- Cost analysis.
Required Experience:
- Ability to withstand stress and pressure
- Good eye for infrastructural, design and engineering details
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite
- Excellent Analytical and Numerical skills
- Excellent planning and scheduling skills.
- Good communication skills.

Territory Sales Manager

Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed business objectives/KPIs for the territory (Sell in, sell out, Focus Category, NPD listing and promotions)
- Achieve sales drivers’ objectives for the territory viz (Distribution, Visibility, Price and Promotion)
- Managing territories with potential to deliver a minimum of 1B per annum
- Plan to deliver customer based and territory based agreed sales (NIV and Category) targets periodically and ensuring a MoM and YoY growth
- Analyse and review distributors’ performance against agreed KPIs
- Work with ZM to develop JBP of customers in assigned territory
- Ensure bi-weekly stock taking to protect company resources
- Tracking of distributor performance payments (including posting and matching), monthly account reconciliation/signing off, repayment plans linked to capability development
- Ensure collection of outstanding debt within stipulated time frame and accompanying same with sell-in of depleted SKUs
- Adherence to monthly journey plan for customers’ contact and engagement
- Ensure compliance with retail operating standards in all showrooms
- Organize and coordinate activities of floor sales merchandizers
- Implement strict credit control for Key distributors and ensure purchases are made within approved credit limit
- Accountable for POS materials and other sales driving materials deployed to territory through monitoring to ensure safe keeping and optimal use.
Qualifications
- First Degree in any discipline
- Computer Literacy
Experiences (What experience brings success to this role):
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing or sales, and over this period has successfully delivered on KPIs.
- Direct experience of PZ Cussons Way of selling capabilities with a focus on Sales Driver execution at the point of purchase (QDVP), Outlet Segmentation and Managing Relationships including structured call, persuasive selling and brand passion.
- Experience in an electrical related company is an added advantage.
Knowledge (What does the person need to know):
- Good knowledge of business objectives and priorities.
- Experienced driver with valid license
- Knowledge of Field Sales Management and Market Intelligence.
