  • Review customer’s requests and enforce compliance assurance functions in line with the with the Bank’s laid down procedures, regulatory dictates and requirements.

2). Desk Head (Fund Transfers)

Responsibilities

  • Enforcement of compliance checks on all customer’s requests in compliance with the Bank’s laid down procedures and meet all regulatory requirements before they are processed
  • Manage the desk that oversees all outflows of foreign transfer transactions out of  the country and covering all the Branches of the Bank.
  • Lead the provision of all due diligent exercise on all  outward foreign transactions relating directly with the Compliance trade team of the bank.

3). Industry and Competitor Intelligence Officer

  • Guide the Bank’s industry and competitor research agenda and strategy and develop and disseminate resource listings and other reference documents for the Bank’s use.

  • Identify Bank’s preparedness to leverage economic opportunities, mitigate risks, or absorb shocks; synthesize and communicate economic developments and research outcomes
  • Provides internal advice and support to all levels of the organization on the quality of industry and competitor research and analysis, methodologies, and frameworks on key issues.

4). Senior Analyst, Group Reconciliation Unit

Job Description

  • Manage centralized reconciliation processes at the HUB
  • Drive centralization of Reconciliation process across the bank network (Nigeria, and SSAs)
  • Recons process design- Analyze and interpret process dynamics to design suitable processes of reconciliation or monitoring
  • Interact with account owners and operations teams to have a good knowledge of their process and data for effective migration of their manual reconciliation to TLM Corona.
  • Drive process improvement, optimization, and automation of reconciliation process.
  • Change Management – drive and coordinate assigned GRU change management as relates reconciliation activities.
  • Project Delivery- Drive timely delivery of GRU projects-automation and reconciliation projects
  • Managing information and data risks as related to reconciliation data
  • Foster a risk awareness culture into people, processes, and systems within G&C to mitigate risk exposure from Reconciliation breaks
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of reconciliation data.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Liaise with Vendor and ensure that all reconciliation tools are maintained as when due.
  • The first point of contact in data mining and management on Recons.
  • Manage and resolve stakeholder issues on reconciliation matters.
  • Provide Reconciliation data/MIS periodically to management for decision making
  • Provide reconciliation data to stakeholders on requests (internal and external parties)
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in reconciliation processes and data exchange- PCI DSS, CBN

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Education: First degree in any discipline
  • Certifications in Database languages and Advance Excel will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years banking experience.
  • Experience on Process management and I.T Knowledge
  • Database languages skills.
  • Proficient in the design and use of Excel Macros and various MS Office automation tools.
  • Previous knowledge in banking operations and recons is key.
