Job Description Summary

The International Region covers Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, India, Japan and AKA. As International CMO MR you will play a crucial role in driving the Modality marketing and commercial strategy to achieve business objectives. You will be responsible for:

  • Driving the marketing strategy (Marketing mix) formation in alignment with the global SBU strategy, taking into consideration the International region specifics, and ensure a sound execution in close collaboration with the zones
  • Driving organic and inorganic growth initiatives including strategic alliances and partnerships
  • Assessing the GTM and come up with improvement areas in collaboration with the zones
  • Embracing the Franchise mindset of Equipment and Service, as well as IB retention and accurate demand forecast accuracy
  • Win business through building specialization that leads to greater value-based selling.

Key Responsibilities/essential Functions Include (but Not Limited To)

  • Define & drive sales enablement strategies using product management as the primary lever
  • Developing expertise and product depth in regions
  • Provide leadership and direction to the product teams enabling them to support the sales teams including Channel Partners across the region
  • Demonstrate the ability to generate new business opportunities that leverage GE HealthCare (GEHC) in the market place, including partnerships & solutions
  • Defining and developing market segmentation strategies and devising appropriate product positioning plans
  • Evaluate and launch NPIs in a timely manner to the market to capitalize on market demand ahead of competition
  • Be a conduit to the Global Product Marketing teams, through the region product marketers and share region-specific inputs to help bring out products that are customized for the region’s needs
  • Support key commercial initiatives at all times
  • In partnership with Zone Modality Leaders, support SBU escalations for competitive pricing for big modality deals, monitor pricing process and drive local empowerment for pricing across the region
  • Have a strategy for increasing channel contributions to Revenue and work towards increasing expertise of channel partners
  • Drive and implement focused & prioritized business initiatives to trigger Growth by making strategic trade-offs where required
  • Represent One GE HealthCare in multi-modality deals, large projects & cross-P&L business events
  • In conjunction with country sales teams, create a trusting environment that values teamwork to the overall benefit of customer satisfaction
  • Work towards improving customer satisfaction in all segments while devising & implementing objective ways to measure Customer Satisfaction (E.g. through Surveys, Interview etc.)
  • Develop long term relationship with customers; provide leadership in showcasing newer technologies to customers and creating a ‘pull’ from the market
  • Continuously develop deep clinical and technical knowledge for modalities including awareness of current and future trends in healthcare technology and healthcare funding mechanisms
  • In partnership with the modality GMs, develop and allocate necessary Sales & Segment resources and provide clinical & technical support to win deals
  • Prepare business cases, financial models, and forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators and business development metrics.
  • Leverage customer feedback to identify opportunities for product or service enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, marketing, and operations, to align business development strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Work closely with regional and global teams to ensure consistency and alignment of business development efforts.
  • Drive employee engagement activities to ensure retention across the Region, recognizing success, sharing best practices, providing exposure to people within the team with senior leaders within the region, products and modalities
  • Act as a role model for collaborative mindset across P&L/functions
  • Owns account teams’ product/service/solution strategy and offerings education
  • Facilitate effective communication & collaboration within the Zone/Product matrix organization. Share and follow-up identified leads to other product lines within own accounts and or One GEHC accounts

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Medical Director, with 12+ years’ experience in Business Management, Product Marketing/Development OR equivalent years of experience progressive leadership positions within the Healthcare industry with in-depth knowledge of healthcare market.
  • Minimum of 10+ years with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) sales & marketing experience
  • Demonstrated business management, and resource allocation skills including business plan development
  • Deep knowledge of Magnetic Resonance (MR) products and services offered
  • Proven ability to work with global teams to bring out region-specific outcomes
  • Exemplary people management, leadership skills, as well as sales coaching & team building skills
  • Strong business acumen; financial and organizational skills
  • Advanced negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills
