International Breweries Plc was incorporated in December 1971 by its founder and first Chairman, Dr. Lawrence Omole under the name International Breweries Limited. The Company commenced production of its flagship product Trophy Lager in December 1978 with an installed capacity of 200,000 hectoliters per annum.
1). Brewing Operator
Location: Ogun
Key roles and responsibilities
- Complete associated tracking and monitoring: Complete operator workstation administration and act as required.
- Complete Team room administration as required.
- Contribute to self-development
- Manage PIMS & POMS and take corrective action on negative trends
- Use QFR’s (As per triggers)
- Complete 5 WHY’s (As per triggers) with relevant team members
- Contribute towards AB reports as required
- Ensure process quality and productivity
- Carrying out autonomous operations as defined for the process areas
- Identify defective plant, and report these through to the Process Artisan or Team Leader to assist with resolution
- Assisting the Process Artisan/Machine specialist in executing running repairs on shift
- Carrying out the required quality checks and analyses and recording the results on the appropriate information system.
- The list of quality checks to be executed is contained in the work instructions.
Education & Qualification Requirements:
- Min. of B.Sc./HND in Microbiology, Biochemistry or other related Courses.
- 1 year on the job training.

2). Finance Manager – Project
Location: Ogun
Key outputs and responsibilities:
- Manage Nigeria Capex and project portfolios
- Manage Nigeria Capex cashflow
- Tracking, monitoring, and reporting Nigeria Capex actuals, LE against Budgets
- Manage asset capitalization, disposal and asset register
- Reconcile capex vendor
- Manage investment orders against the right packages
- Manage and follow up on capex GRN and payments
- Manage open commitments
- Supervise and coordinate asset impairment and verification.
- Ensure compliance on MICS, Capex and project
- Work with Implementation Coordinator and project engineers to ensure project optimization.
Education & Qualification Requirements:
Graduate qualification in one or a combination of the following: Finance or Engineering
- Project management experience preference
- Understanding of the manufacturing process of beer and/or soft drinks will be a distinct

3). Packaging Process Operator

- Complete required hand over to incoming shift team members, ensuring the issues relating to plant performance, quality and maintenance are communicated

4). Head of Control

Key Outputs and Responsibilities
- Consolidation and reporting of Nigeria’s financial performance. Reviewing and raising queries on monthly performance
- Ensure accurate consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual results specified deadlines
- Compile reporting for statutory reporting in line with timelines
- Own the annual audit process and be the main point of contact for our auditors
- Ensure compliance with IFRS
- Own GL Chart of Accounts and ensure accurate transaction processing and balance reporting.
- Manage Company Balance sheet to ensure risks are mitigated.
- Own relationship with Shared service center on R2R activities ensuring OTIF completion
- Primary contact for queries from Zone/Global Control
- Maintaining records of internal controls that are applicable to Nigeria
- Identify root cause of compliance issues and devise solutions to address non-compliance.
- Continuously seek improvements in processes, products and technology within the team, function and the business to continuously improve quality and customer satisfaction.
- Training, advice and support to operations on reporting systems
- Provide technical accounting advice to Business stakeholders
- Tax experience not required, but ability to manage Tax manager.
Qualification And Education
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or any related discipline
- Professional qualifications e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CFA is required
- Minimum of 8 years Accounting & Financial Reporting experience in a reputable organization is required.
- Key understanding and practical application of IFRS
- Understanding of Nigeria tax laws and climate.
