1). Electrical Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

About the Job

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for all Electrical systems in the Power Plant and provide the necessary routine maintenance and ensure 100% availability of the plant systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Electrical team in resolving issues highlighted as part of analysis from the planning and efficiency team.
  • Ensure high availability of all Electrical equipment and systems in the power plant.
  • Minimize cost of maintenance of the plant and optimize equipment lifecycle cost.
  • Supervision of maintenance measures in Electrical maintenance unit and ensuring quality maintenance.
  • Respond to any electrical equipment malfunction or breakdown.
  • Ensure proper record of faults and repairs on plant electrical systems.
  • Ensure availability of spares and other infrastructure for maintenance.
  • Minimize response time to the Operations unit for handling routine day-to-day problems.
  • Optimize Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • Plan resource requirements for electrical maintenance–manpower, materials, and contracts.

Qualifications

  • First Degree Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the Power Industry.
  • Member of COREN, Post Graduate degree and other certifications are added advantages.
  • Experience in a Power plant of minimum 20MW capacity.
  • Experience in any other oil and gas process or production facility.

Skills / Knowledge:

  • Technical knowledge of all electrical systems.
  • Understanding of working of equipment and history of equipment.
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures with respect to maintenance of Electrical system.
  • Good knowledge of troubleshooting and maintenance of switchgears, motors, UPS/DC systems.
  • Technical trouble shooting and ability to identify root cause of problems to avoid recurrence.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements and environmental aspects of power generation.
  • Knowledge of modern maintenance management practices and spares inventory management.
  • Knowledge of statutory guidelines related to electrical equipment Knowledge of Engineering.
  • Experience in Low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems. Experience in 132KV HV systems is an added advantage.
  • Skilled in maintenance planning, scheduling, and technical reporting.
  • Ability to carry out preventive and proactive interventions of plant electrical systems using OEM design schematics with minimal supervision.

2). Mechanical Technician

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

About the Job

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily operation, inspections and maintenance of Mechanical systems.
  • Also, assist the mechanical engineer in testing, perfecting and maintaining operating machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Support in the inspection of all mechanical equipment and auxiliaries.
  • Assist on maintenance overhaul on defective mechanical systems.
  • Maintain parts and tools inventory.
  • Identifying faulty machines or equipment.
  • Report all observation of defects or potential failure on machinery, mechanical equipment and mechanical tools.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical breakdown/ malfunctions.
  • Perform mechanical repairs.
  • Carry out outlined daily routine and preventive maintenance checks.
  • Assist in all scheduled corrective maintenance activities.
  • Safety compliance
  • Assist in resolving downtime mechanical issues promptly and effectively
  • Undertake any other task or routine maintenance assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Trade Test in related field or ND in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Good Technical Knowledge of Mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Ability to identify and select appropriate tools or equipment for use relative to assigned work task given.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of basic Safety requirements.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Possess sound professional communication skills.

3). Bowser Operator

Job Identification: 276
Location: Ijora, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Accountabilities

  • Effective Equipment handling that reduces downtime & breakdown (Aviation refueling trucks/bowsers)
  • Service delivery that meets and surpasses customers expectation (Into-plane refueling)
  • Maintain high Safety standards at all times.
  • Ensure that quality control test of Jet A-1 fuel is done regularly without compromise before, during and after aircraft refueling.
  • Carry out comprehensive check of Bowsers to ensure that they are safe for field operations (i.e., daily, weekly, monthly checks and other routine checks).
  • Handle Stock reconciliation, documentation and reporting.
  • Ensuring that ADI’s are properly written and error-free
  • Reconciliation of all customer accounts
  • Attend to ad-hoc duties as advised by Line Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences in any relevant institution and a drive to succeed.
  • At least 1-year post-NYSC experience
  • A team player with an international outlook and an ability to communicate effectively across boundaries
  • Good interpersonal and people skill
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Good use of Microsoft Office packages
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Good reporting skills
  • Proficiency in Driving
  • Good attitude and approach to work.
