1). General Manager (Sales)

Location: Aba, Abia

Industry: Manufacturing

Description 

  • The General Manager is responsible for managing revenue and cost elements of the region i.e. Profit and Loss responsibility. GM oversees daily business activities and is responsible for effective planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organizing, and decision-making to attain desired business results.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and manages budget
  • Directs and coordinates departmental activities
  • Reviews financial statements, manufacturing, and sales reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and identify areas needing improvement
  • Researches, identifies, develops, and implements growth strategies
  • Enhance the organization’s image and build robust rapport with external stakeholders such as suppliers, regulatory bodies, distributors, etc.
  • Proactively monitor sales and distribution activities to ensure efficient and adequate supply of finished goods and optimum deployment of transportation to facilitate distribution to customers
  • Ensure optimum machine efficiency and production output
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards/specifications

Requirements

  • A minimum of Bachelor Degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Business Administration or any other related field.
  • MSc / MBA is a MUST
  • Minimum of 9-12 years of work experience in FMCG or Manufacturing company is a MUST
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, analysis and reporting of financial data
  • Knowledge of the organization’s manufacturing processes, products, and machinery
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources
  • Good understanding of the company’s sales and distribution model as well as the practice in the industry
  • Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions to problems.
  • Determining how funds will be spent to get the work done, and accounting for these expenditures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with superiors, peers, and subordinates clearly via e-mails, telephone, in-person, etc.

2). Utility Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

  • He/ She is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment at the utility equipment steam boilers, generators, air compressors, power distribution equipment, water treatment plant, effluent treatment plant etc. to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Responsibilities
  • Manages Utility equipment like steam boilers, generators, air compressors, power distribution equipment, water treatment plant, effluent treatment plant etc. to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Maintain all equipment under utilities to ensuring availability and reliability minimizing down time.
  • Maintain and operate the CO2 plant and associated supply networks points as per specification.
  • Carry out equipment monitoring as per checklist, document findings and recommend actions to be taken. Write equipment shift operation report.
  • Lubricate equipment as specified in the lubrication chart and documentation. Clean and wash all stains on equipment after lubrication
  • Ensure the compliance to good manufacturing practice, food safety practice, good environmental management system, and occupational health and safety practices in all line activities.
  • Monitor and ensure CCPs critical limits are not exceeded at the Dominik Hunter and Filler. Monitoring of control points, PRPs and oPRPs in beverage manufacture process to prevent food safety related hazards.
  • Perform condition-based maintenance on all utility equipment using CMMS. (SAP-PM).

Qualifications

  • A minimum of Bachelor of Engineering Degree (B.Eng.) or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 – 7 years relevant hands-on FMCG operation and maintenance experience is a MUST.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a beverage bottling company in a managerial capacity.
  • Experienced in budgeting and people management
  • Knowledge of bottling operations: Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering, Health and Safety.

3). System Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, 22000)

Responsibilities
Audit Planning and Preparation:

  • Develop audit plans based on organizational processes and requirements.
  • Identify audit scope, objectives, and criteria aligned with the relevant standards (e.g., ISO 22000, ISO 9001).
  • Prepare checklists and gather necessary information before audits.

Conducting Audits:

  • Lead internal, external, or certification audits of Food Safety Management Systems or other ISOcompliant processes.
  • Evaluate processes, procedures, and documentation for compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Assess risk control measures, food safety hazards, and critical control points (CCPs) during FSMS audits.
  • Interact with auditees, managers, and key personnel to gather objective evidence.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Document observations, nonconformities, and opportunities for improvement
  • during audits.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, corrective actions, and recommendations.
  • Communicate audit results to senior management and stakeholders.

Verification and Follow-Up:

  • Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address nonconformities.
  • Perform followup audits to confirm the closure of identified gaps or issues.

Compliance and Standard Updates:

  • Stay updated on changes to relevant ISO standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to teams on compliance and implementation of ISO/FSMS standards.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with clients, certification bodies, or regulatory authorities.
  • Act as a consultant and advisor on improving systems and ensuring compliance with standards.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Evaluate system effectiveness and recommend improvements for compliance and efficiency.
  • Analyze trends in audit findings to identify areas for strategic enhancement.

Leadership and Team Coordination:

  • Guide audit teams, ensuring compliance with audit protocols.
  • Mentor team members in applying auditing principles and techniques.

Requirements

  • 7 years+ experience as an ISO System Coordinator, with expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 22000, or related standards.
  • BSc or HND in Chemical Sciences, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in Quality or Food Safety Management Systems will be an
  • added advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and
