Description
- We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist who can handle a variety of accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle various accounting duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Collaborate effectively with the Accounts Payable (AP) team to ensure first-time-right transaction processing.
- Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Participate in financial audits and work with auditors to ensure compliance.
- Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Support A & C on administrative tasks:
- Retrieval of documents for weekly payments and various audit purposes;
- Raising of PR for corporate units;
- GRIR and web-cycle resolutions;
- Review and reconciliation of business advance GLs;
- Co-ordination of quarterly GL reconciliations;
- Reclass of bulk postings on HR and SCM to appropriate cost centres;
- Reconciliation of AMEX card transactions and any other tasks assigned by HOAC.
What You Bring
- A Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong team spirit and excellent collaboration skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of applicable accounting regulations and standards.
- ICAN ATS or Advance stage of ICAN examination in addition to first degree.

2). Commercial Project Manager

A Snapshot of Your Day
- Responsible for the completion of all commercial/financial related tasks to give to the project success.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Responsible for Project financial controlling and reporting.
- Preparation of Order Recognition and Contract Analysis (ORCA) and Order Entry Calculations (OEC).
- Ensures correct methodology for assessment and evaluation of risks and opportunities on projects.
- Responsible for cost capturing, monitoring, and controlling on projects.
- Responsible for accurate collation & calculation of direct & indirect hours on service-related projects.
- Support the PM in identifying and minimizing NCCs and establishing appropriate reporting structures for projects.
- Identifies, assesses, responds, monitors, reports, raises all commercial risks on projects.
- Support Sales colleagues in bid preparation and contract management.
- Collection and reconciliation of WHT credit notes as it relates to the projects
- Reviewing and preparing THOP/SLA with affiliates
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to commercial construction projects.
- Applying O&G customer knowledge to tailor project strategies and solutions to meet specific client needs and expectations.
What You Bring
- 3 – 5 years’ experience
- ICAN would be an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior project management experience will be an advantage.
- Must be goal oriented, comfortable working in complementary teams, and experienced in prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Proficient in English (both verbally and written).
- Demonstrate strong dedication, perseverance, and self-initiative.
- Understanding of market trends and discernment.
