Job Title: Loan Call and Monitoring Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Client Communication: Regularly call borrowers to remind them of upcoming or overdue payments.
  • Collections Support: Follow up on delinquent accounts to ensure timely repayment and minimize defaults.
  • Customer Service: Address client inquiries regarding loan terms, payment schedules, and account status.
  • Payment Arrangements: Negotiate and arrange payment plans with borrowers facing difficulties.
  • Call Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all communication with clients for audit and reference purposes.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Track loan performance and identify early warning signs of potential default.
  • Compliance Checks: Ensure loan agreements are being followed and that borrowers comply with covenants.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on loan portfolio status, NPLs (non-performing loans), and collection progress.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an SSCE/OND / HND / B.Sc qualification with 0 – 1 years work experience.
  • Previous experience in tele-collections or Customer Service will be an added advantage
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written, especially for engaging with clients.
  • Good negotiation and interpersonal skills – to handle delinquent borrowers tactfully.
  • Attention to detail – essential for tracking loan data and monitoring repayment.
  • Analytical skills – to assess risk and loan performance.
  • Must have Smart Phone.(Android or iPhone).

Company Benefits

  • Salary: N60,000 – N75,000 per month.
  • Basic salary: 60k
  • Bonus: daily bonus, weekly bonus, (up to 15k)
  • Phone compensation ( Airtime & data)
  • Skills training within one week of joining the company and transportation subsidies.
  • Permission to work from home (return to office for skills training if not performing well)
  • Salary increased in three months and again in six months.
  • Year-end bonus for good performance every year.
