Job Title: Loan Call and Monitoring Officer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Reach out to borrowers (phone, text, email) to follow up on overdue payments or account delinquencies.
- Collaborate with borrowers to agree upon realistic payment plans, settlements, or restructuring of their loans.
- Identify the financial situation of borrowers and advise on appropriate solutions or assistance to aid recovery.
- Listen to borrower complaints or worries and provide clear explanations or support to ease their financial stress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recovery activities and borrower interactions in the system.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND / HND / B.Sc qualification with 0 – 1 years of work experience.
- Previous experience in tele-collections or Customer Service will be an added advantage
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written, especially for engaging with clients.
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills – to handle delinquent borrowers tactfully.
- Attention to detail – essential for tracking loan data and monitoring repayment.
- Analytical skills – to assess risk and loan performance.
- Must have a SmartPhone. (Android or iPhone).
Company Benefits
- Basic salary: 60,000 / month.
- Bonus: daily bonus, weekly bonus, (up to N15,000)
