Job Title: Loan Collection/Recovery Agent – SCALE
Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Job Summary
- SCALE is Renda’s Value-Added Services (VAS) and Credit platform that powers essential mobility solutions such as vehicle repairs, fueling, insurance, CNG conversion, and financing.
- Through SCALE, we support drivers, fleet owners, and operators with access to tailored financial and operational services.
- We are seeking diligent and result-oriented Loan Collection/Recovery Agents to support the timely repayment of loans and enforce agreed repayment terms. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, persistence, and a commitment to maintaining professionalism while driving results.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with SCALE beneficiaries to recover outstanding loan repayments.
- Educate beneficiaries on repayment terms, timelines, and the implications of default.
- Negotiate and document revised payment plans where necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of repayment efforts and report daily activities.
- Escalate unresolved or high-risk accounts following internal recovery protocols.
- Collaborate with the finance, risk, and VAS teams to reconcile account statuses.
- Ensure all recovery efforts comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Loan recovery rate (%)
- Repayment promise-to-actual conversion rate
- Number of successful recoveries per period
- Accuracy and timeliness of recovery reports
- Compliance with escalation and documentation procedures
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in loan collection, debt recovery, or credit control.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and persistence.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with basic reporting tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel).
- Fluency in English (local language proficiency is an added advantage).
