Job Title: Marketplace Back Office Support Officer

Job Description

  • We are looking for a Marketplace Back Office Support Officer to ensure seamless merchant onboarding and platform management.
  • The ideal candidate will on board or profile merchants,assist merchants with product uploads, answer customer inquiries, and provide general support to enhance the user experienceon our marketplace.
  • This role requires a high level of attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and customer service expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and assist merchants in creating accounts and setting up their online stores.
  • Help merchants upload product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • Provide support via email, chat, and phone to resolve merchant and customer inquiries.
  • Ensure product listings comply with platform policies and maintain data accuracy.
  • Monitor and track merchant activities, providing support to improve their success.
  • Assist in handling order management, disputes, and returns processing.
  • Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless platform functionality.
  • Maintain records of merchant interactions and provide reports on marketplace performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Customer Service, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, e-commerce operations, or marketplace support.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and online selling processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, order management systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to customer and merchant support.
