Job Summary

• Execute all the Layout and Piping design activities inherent to his/her group, including, when necessary, the identification and specification of the piping materials in accordance with technological, technical, contractual and economic requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Layout & Piping Design & Drafting Engineer has the following main responsibilities:

• Following the guidelines provided by the Responsible.
• Execute the assigned design and drafting activities following the instructions given by the Piping Coordinator and in accordance with the quality system in force within the Discipline, job requirements, time schedule.
• Keep the Piping Coordinator fully informed on the status of his activities.
• Ensure an adequate flow of information within the Job Team.
• Develop layout study under the supervision and following the instructions of the Piping Coordinator according to the established work instructions.
• Execute 3D model design activities.
• Prepare or revise engineering drawings under the supervision and following the instructions of the Design and Drafting Coordinator according to the established work instructions and job requirements.
• Act as isometric controller when assigned by the Design and Drafting Coordinator.
• File the project documents; This position can be filled by an Engineer according to the expertise and independence in performing the job.
• Based on the complexity of the activities managed and level of autonomy, the abovementioned activities can be assigned to a Layout & Piping Design & Drafting Engineer or Senior Engineer.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a University Degree

Experience:

• Experiences in Refinery operation
• Plant for the gas treatment

• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail, management skills
• Team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
