Job Title: Network and Systems Engineer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• Fully supporting, configuring, maintaining and upgrading in-house systems/network and corporate customer’s network.
• Daily network support to all staff (Local and Remote).
• Resolve all related LAN issue within the network.
• Monitor all active nodes/customer utilization on PRTG.
• Acknowledge and resolve all escalated customer related issues.
• Work with the team to uphold and maintain the network to its highest level of performance
• Design and implement new network solution design for onboarding Customers.
• Conduct LAN/WLAN survey based on request.
• Implement schedule system upgrades as at when due.
• Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords.
• Take weekly backup of servers (PRTG, Exchange, Network drive, SAGE)
• Track port details of customer on active devices (Routers, Switches)
• Document and keep track of customer VLAN and Circuit ID during circuit provisioning.
• Support in the research and development of custom software for in-house use.
• Manage the Exchange, SIP, Active directory and DNS servers.

Qualification and Experience

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or any related field
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in systems and network management.
