Job Summary

  • We’re looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Manager who can take full ownership of our online presence.
  • This role is perfect for someone who’s excited to build and grow a brand’s voice from the ground up, creating content, managing engagement, running analytics, and telling powerful stories across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage content calendars for Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • Create visual and written content using tools like Canva to communicate our brand message.
  • Publish posts and manage day-to-day activities across all social platforms.
  • Engage with our online community: respond to comments, DMs, and mentions.
  • Track performance using analytics tools and prepare weekly insights reports.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and suggest new content ideas.
  • Coordinate and provide real-time social media coverage during events, trainings, or webinars.
  • Manage our content archive and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2:2
  • NYSC Status: Call-up letter stating you have been posted to Lagos.

Skills Requirements

  • Self-starter with a strong interest in social media, branding, and digital communication.
  • Good design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe, CapCut) and an eye for visual storytelling.
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Basic understanding of content performance tracking (e.g., using platform insights).
