Job Summary
- We’re looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Manager who can take full ownership of our online presence.
- This role is perfect for someone who’s excited to build and grow a brand’s voice from the ground up, creating content, managing engagement, running analytics, and telling powerful stories across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage content calendars for Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
- Create visual and written content using tools like Canva to communicate our brand message.
- Publish posts and manage day-to-day activities across all social platforms.
- Engage with our online community: respond to comments, DMs, and mentions.
- Track performance using analytics tools and prepare weekly insights reports.
- Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and suggest new content ideas.
- Coordinate and provide real-time social media coverage during events, trainings, or webinars.
- Manage our content archive and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2:2
- NYSC Status: Call-up letter stating you have been posted to Lagos.
Skills Requirements
- Self-starter with a strong interest in social media, branding, and digital communication.
- Good design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe, CapCut) and an eye for visual storytelling.
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Basic understanding of content performance tracking (e.g., using platform insights).
