Job Title: Office Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Description 

  • Our client needs an experienced and competent Office Manager to manage the day to day running of office, Projects and staff management.
  • An Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning, and providing administrative support of the business.

Responsibilities 
Identified key responsibilities of an Office Manager;

  • Administrative Support: This includes tasks like scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing correspondence, and handling customer inquiries.
  • Office Operations: Overseeing daily activities, maintaining a clean and functional workspace, and ensuring proper equipment and supplies are available
  • Facilities Management: Coordinating with maintenance staff, managing vendors for cleaning, security, and other services, and ensuring the building is well-maintained
  • Inventory Management: Managing office supplies, ordering as needed, and maintaining a proper inventory system.
  • Employee Onboarding and HR Support: Assisting with hiring procedures, onboarding new employees, and supporting the HR department with various tasks.
  • Budget Management: Tracking and managing the office budget, preparing reports, and ensuring expenditures are within budget
  • Policy and Procedure Maintenance: Developing, implementing, and maintaining office policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
  • Supervisory and Leadership: Depending on the size of the office, an Office Manager may also supervise administrative staff, delegate tasks, and provide guidance.
