Job Title: Operations Customer Service Specialist (Male)
Location: Oregun, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, highly organized, and excellent at handling customer communication.
- This role involves overseeing shipments, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining effective communication with clients while coordinating operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Check and inspect customers’ shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure all jobs are labeled properly for easy identification.
- Answer the official company line at all times and ensure it is always loaded with credit.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records for all clients.
- Provide daily reports on collected shipments, their weight, and recipient details.
- Keep track of all returned packages or items and ensure proper documentation.
- Supervise and oversee the jobs handled by each staff member.
- Report directly to the Supervisor on operational activities.
- Answer all incoming calls promptly, provide a daily report on missed calls, and ensure all clients are attended to.
- Call recipients to confirm correct details, verify payments, inform them of their charges, and follow up on payments.
- Maintain a record of all client correspondence, ensuring no communication is deleted.
- Confirm all payments received and send receipts to clients.
- Provide timely updates to clients about their shipments.
- Ensure all important terms and conditions or messages communicated to clients over the phone are also sent via message for confirmation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- HND or B.Sc in a relevant field.
Prior experience in logistics, customer service, or operations is an advantage. - Gender: Male
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage customer relationships professionally and efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping abilities.
Compensation & Benefit
- Salary: N90,000 monthly.
- Competitive salary with an increase after 3 months.
- Structured work schedule (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturday 8AM – 1PM).
