Commercial Results

  • In conjunction with key business stakeholders, the Country Manager formulates effective strategies to meet and exceed the company objectives and targets on a global level. They are responsible for championing their local market.

Compliance Management

  • The Country Manager needs to have a solid understanding of the in-country regulations, data protection legislation, compliance monitoring and systems and controls. This role is responsible for the adherence to all areas of legislative compliance. They need to ensure that stakeholders from all areas of the business are aware and compliant with the in-country regulations and the nuances thereof.

Brand Marketing

  • The Country Manager needs to maintain a solid knowledge of the country market ensuring that the brand is perceived and received well at local level. They need to have an understanding of what the market wants from an ecommerce perspective so that the internal and external marketing, and promotions, are managed effectively. This role needs to maintain detailed knowledge of the entire products offering and be an expert in all products at a strategic level.
  • The Country Manager also assists with business wide updates for the country market. This role ensures that the website is appealing on a local level due to promotions designed with the in-house loyalty team.

People Management

  • The Country Manager empowers the team with ownership of their respective areas of responsibility, while ensuring the department works cohesively. They provide feedback in order to optimise the performance of managers, team leaders and team members within their allocated portfolios.

Retention Marketing

  • From a customer services perspective, The Country Manager ensures that the whole player journey and engagement is tracked and monitored, with the focus being on the retention of customers. The daily monitoring of trends and changes with player journeys is measured. All new changes and their outcomes are also measured. This role is responsible for ensuring that statistics and trends are monitored and measured at all levels.

Website Management,

  • The Country Manager ensures that continuous testing of the website is carried out, maintained and monitored. This role is responsible for the general updating and management of the country websites and ensuring that the proofing of the website content is managed effectively.

Research and Best Practice

They research and implement best practice strategies and processes for new and innovative technologies/guidelines/processes that can be utilized across the organization in an efficient manner.
