Job Summary

• We are seeking a licensed and experienced Optometrist to join our eye care team.
• The Optometrist will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing visual and ocular health issues, prescribing corrective lenses or treatments, and providing patient education on eye care and preventive measures.
• The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality eye care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough eye examinations using specialized equipment.
• Diagnose and manage vision problems and eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, vision therapy, and medications as needed.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery (e.g., LASIK, cataract surgery).
• Maintain accurate patient records and write detailed reports for referring physicians when necessary.
• Educate patients on eye health, proper lens use, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists, opticians, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in optometry and participate in continuing education.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 – 5 years work experience in a related field.
