Purpose of the Job
- To update production inventory data on data base (AXAPTA 2012) and send production inventory stock reports to keep management informed of the stock’s status.
The Job
- Update on the database all receipt & issues data for raw and packaging materials
- Forwards to account office copy of raw & packaging material receipt and reject documents for payment purpose
- Update the database with daily production output, product transfer to warehouse.
- Create and receive transfer orders for raw material & finished products
- Raise purchase order & post product receipt for raw and packaging materials.
- Send flour stocks and outstanding un-discharged trucks report.
- Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.
- Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.
Qualifications
- 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/NABTEB/ Trade test.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in similar role.
The Person Must:
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to analyze and optimize inventory turnover to inform effective inventory planning and management strategies.
- Accurate in maintaining and updating inventory records to ensure precise planning and forecasting.
- Proactive in identifying and mitigating potentials backorders through strategic inventory planning and replenishment.
