Overview of Job Description

• As a Policy and Research Intern at Tsaro Global Defence, you will play an instrumental role in supporting our organization’s strategic initiatives.
• You will be immersed in the world of security policy design, reforms, and research, assisting in the development of innovative strategies to tackle Nigeria’s complex current and future security challenges.
• This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on security policies, trends, and emerging issues in Nigeria and the globe
• Analyze data and contribute to the formulation of actionable recommendations for addressing security challenges.
• Collaborate with senior team members to develop policy reports, whitepapers, and presentations.
• Monitor and track relevant legislative and regulatory developments in the security domain.
• Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and events related to security policy and research.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategy discussions aimed at enhancing our security services.

Required Qualities and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, International Relations, Security Studies, or related fields.
• Strong passion for security policy, research, and a keen interest in contributing to Nigeria’s security landscape.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive research using various sources.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with security-related concepts and international relations is a plus.
