Job Title: Process Excellence Manager

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Responsibilities
Process Improvement & Lean Six Sigma Application:

  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and eliminate waste
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to analyse current processes and identify root causes of inefficiencies
  • Develop and implement solutions that improve quality, reduce costs, and increase productivity
  • Identify key performance areas of waste and inefficiencies, using data-driven decision-making to drive improvements
  • Establish process documentation, standard operating procedures, and control measures to sustain improvements.

Strategy & Execution:

  • Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and simplification
  • Works with departmental stakeholders to define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process changes
  • Develop project roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of process improvement initiatives
  • Align process improvement projects with the organization’s strategic objectives and performance goals.

Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Lead cross-functional teams through process transformation projects
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by coaching and mentoring teams on Lean Six Sigma principles and process optimization techniques
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops on problem-solving methodologies, process mapping, and performance improvement
  • Engage stakeholders to secure buy-in and ensure smooth adoption of process change.

Technology & Automation Integration:

  • Collaborate with IT and business teams (local and international) to identify automation opportunities that enhance process efficiency
  • Recommend and implement digital solutions to streamline operations and improve workflow
  • Leverage data analytics tools to monitor process performance and support decision-making.

Documentation, Reporting & Other Duties:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including process maps, impact assessments, and performance reports
  • Present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
  • Track and report the impact of process improvement initiatives on business performance
  • Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across departments
  • Perform other duties by business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or any related STEM field (Preferred but not compulsory)
  • Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement, operations excellence, or related roles.
