We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer – Technical

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

  • You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring technical equipment, materials, and services required for our operations.
  • You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality technical products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for technical equipment, materials, and services.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value for the organization.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand procurement requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier information, contracts, and purchase orders.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of related experience in technical procurement
  • Strong understanding of technical products, equipment, and services.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in procurement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
