Title: Product Designer

Role Overview

• We are in search of a Product Designer who can create captivating designs in line with the requirements spanning the complete range of Kuda products. You will operate under the guidance of the Product Design Lead, ensuring the delivery of top-notch work. Your involvement will encompass the entire product development cycle, ranging from initial research and product strategy to design and hand-off to developers. A solid grasp of web and mobile design patterns, along with a keen eye for visual and user experience aspects, is essential as you deeply value the end-user experience.

Responsibilities

• Employ various techniques to craft drafts and prototypes.
• Generate final design solutions.
• Present innovative and practical concepts.
• Transform new concepts into reality, encompassing sketching, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, visual design, asset production, and developer handoff.
• Utilize feedback from fellow designers, customers, and team members to enhance the product.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers within the Retail, Business, and Internal Product teams to launch features that impact the teams’ KPIs.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in designing and delivering web and mobile products and tools.
• A strong portfolio showcasing visual and user experience design in similar product domains.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Familiarity with design techniques such as prototyping and wireframing.
• Comprehension of visual elements including layout, colors, typography, and fonts.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to think strategically about product development and effectively communicate design decisions.

Advantageous:

• Knowledge of and interest in technology and financial services, with previous experience in fintech or digital payments being a plus.
• Experience in designing, maintaining, and implementing a design system.
• Familiarity with UX writing.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proficiency in graphics editing tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
