Job Title: Program Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary
- We are seeking a Program manager to manage the affairs at our climate NGO.
- The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the GIVO Foundation’s programs.
- This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for community development.
- The Program Manager will work closely with the Executive Director and other team members to ensure program success and alignment with the foundation’s mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new programs in line with the foundation’s mission and strategic goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the implementation of programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Monitor program activities and ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness and impact.
- Prepare regular program reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Use data and feedback to make continuous improvements to programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community members, donors, partners, and government agencies.
- Represent the GIVO Foundation at meetings, conferences, and other events.
- Communicate program achievements and challenges to stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support program activities.
- Prepare grant proposals and reports for donors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, public health, development studies).
- 3+ years of experience in program management, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Strong understanding of program design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Experience in fundraising and grant writing is an asset.
