We are an NGO that provides support for the social well-being of older people, and helps with various life-related issues such as housing, food, and healthcare. Through initiatives and campaigns, awareness is raised about the importance of taking care of aging adults in our society.

Job Duties

  • Develop Program Initiatives and Project Outlines
  • Oversee Funds and Budgets
  • Work closely with other managers, vendors and financial supporters in developing, maintaining and ensuring adherence to budgets
  • Build and maintain partnerships and relationships with other organizations, such as nonprofits, federal agencies and community organizations
  • Generate Program Reports
  • Researching grant proposals and funding opportunities
  • Developing relationships with various community, governmental, and other nonprofit organizations to raise funds and awareness and build resources
  • Apply project management knowledge regarding development, staffing, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Implementing programs and projects to help organizations meet goals and objectives
  • Understanding organizational goals and objectives and creating programs that adhere to these guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years professional NGO work experience will be preferred and an added advantage
  • Demonstrated project management experience including budget development, event planning, coordinating multiple partners and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strength and experience in writing technical reports
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills; fluency in English language is essential
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills, ability to solve problems, and resourcefulness
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong computer skill in MS Office Suite is required
  • Fluency in local language will be an added advantage
  • Understand cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality, and age sensitivity and adaptability of states (Lagos, Oyo, and Ogun).
