Job Title: Project Control Manager

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that project controls processes are consistently applied across the project.
  • Ensuring the Project controls team produce weekly / monthly reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances.
  • Manage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance for the agreed Scope of Work across integrated
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Engineering manager and other Leads to maximize the potential of the project.
  • Evaluate risks at the appropriate level and take considered and measured risks only
  • HSE awareness at all levels
  • To maintain regular communication with NUIMS & NUPRC on the project progress.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Budget and Cost Control: preparing the overall cost estimate and monitor budget
  • Scheduling and Progress Control: preparing and monitoring the Overall Project Schedule
  • Project reporting: implementing and maintaining a reporting system as required by Project Management, Reference Agreements and Company rules.
  • Internal Methods and Organization: implementing and maintaining a Project Management and Control System including internal Project Procedures.
  • Project Governance & Compliance: acts as Project Compliance officer
  • Communication: provide GM, FSO Unity Replacement Project and TEP Nigeria with all the elements to ensure efficient internal and external communications.
  • Documentation Control, IT and other supports: implementing and maintaining all necessary additional services and supports for the Project such as Documentation.
  • Evaluate risks (Cost and schedule) at the appropriate level and take considered and measured actions

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • BSC in Engineering
  • Call for tender and Contract negotiation
  • Construction
  • Cost control
  • SITE installation
  • Contractors’ management
  • Professionally qualified with a minimum of 10 years Managerial experience in the Oil Industry or 10-15 years’ experience of the Engineering and Construction Industry.
