Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team, responsible for managing and executing projects related to oilfield services, including drilling, completion, and production optimization.
- The successful candidate will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and customer representatives.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
- Analyse project data to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Petroleum, or related engineering field (preferably with a second class upper).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in oilfield services, project management, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of drilling, completion, and production operations.
- Proven project management skills, with experience in budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional engineering certification (PE) or equivalent.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., API, OSHA).
- Second Class Upper in Mechanical, Petroleum or related field.
