Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team, responsible for managing and executing projects related to oilfield services, including drilling, completion, and production optimization.
  • The successful candidate will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and customer representatives.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Analyse project data to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Petroleum, or related engineering field (preferably with a second class upper).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in oilfield services, project management, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of drilling, completion, and production operations.
  • Proven project management skills, with experience in budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional engineering certification (PE) or equivalent.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., API, OSHA).
  • Second Class Upper in Mechanical, Petroleum or related field.
