React Native Developer at Trigyn Technologies

• Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for React Native Developer. The resource will be working at our client site in Thailand.

Job Description:

• We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Responsibilities:

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Transition existing native Android and iOS applications to React Native.

• Highly responsive, scalable and integrated mobile applications built on React Native framework; running on any hardware with the latest Android and iOS versions; and using the latest state of the art features;
• Documented source code in source control management system ;
• Technical design and support documentation;
• Successfully completed support tickets.
• Qualifications/Special Skills

Skills:

The following are required as a minimum:

• Solid working knowledge of Java and/or Objective C programming language
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio
• Ability to review requirements specifications and functional design documents and to design solutions and document them.
• Working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts

The following are desirable:

• Familiarity with Jira, Git and Continuous Integration/Deployment.
• Experience with Flow-type, Typescript and Mobx.
• Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha

Academic Qualifications:

• Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in computer science, information systems or related field. A first-level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Experience:

The following are required as a minimum:

• 3+ years of experience in building mobile applications on Android and iOS.
• 2+ years of experience writing React Native application including native bindings.

The following are desirable:

• Experience working both in traditional waterfall and in Agile project environments
• Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha
