Job Title: Receptionist/Administrative Office Assistant
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Mondays – Fridays
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and friendly Receptionist/Administrative Office Assistant to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and phone calls, while also providing crucial administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
- Manage visitor logs and ensure security protocols are followed.
- Maintain and organize the reception area to create a welcoming environment.
Administrative Support:
- Handle office correspondence including mail and packages.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference calls for management.
- Prepare and maintain office supplies inventory, ordering supplies when necessary.
- Assist with organizing office events and meetings.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, transportation, and accommodations.
- Assist with basic data entry and file management.
- Assist in maintaining electronic and paper filing systems.
- Prepare, format, and proofread documents and reports as needed.
Office Coordination:
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations.
- Manage office calendars and meeting schedules.
- Ensure that office equipment, such as copiers and printers, are functioning properly and arrange for maintenance as needed.
- Provide assistance in preparing presentations, reports, or materials for meetings.
General Administrative Tasks:
- Assist with basic HR duties, including onboarding new employees.
- Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and scanning.
- Assist in processing invoices and other administrative paperwork.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications in office administration or related fields are a plus.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant, or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of office procedures and basic administrative tasks.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Compensation
- N150,000 – N180,000 Monthly.
