Job Summary
- We are seeking a smart, courteous, and well-presented Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests at our establishment.
- The ideal candidate will handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
- This role is key to creating a lasting first impression and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using the hotel management system
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries regarding bookings, services, and facilities
- Manage room and table reservations accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for smooth guest service
- Handle customer complaints or issues politely and escalate when necessary
- Maintain records of guest stays, payments, and ID documentation
- Assist with billing, cash handling, and reporting duties.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a receptionist, front desk agent, or guest service personnel is preferred
- Proficiency in basic computer operations; knowledge of hotel reservation software is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Basic knowledge of hospitality services and guest management.
