Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team.
  • As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the Receptionist will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient office environment.
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Manage front desk operations, ensuring a clean and organized reception area.
  • Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs and issue visitor passes as needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and documentation.
  • Support office staff with general clerical duties, such as printing, scanning, and email correspondence.
  • Provide basic information to clients and direct them to appropriate departments.
  • Ensure compliance with company security procedures and access controls.
  • Coordinate office supplies and maintain inventory levels.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of an OND or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk officer, or in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with office management software and telephone systems.

Salary

  • N80,000 – N100,000 Monthly.
