Job Summary
- We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team.
- As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the Receptionist will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient office environment.
- The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Manage front desk operations, ensuring a clean and organized reception area.
- Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs and issue visitor passes as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and documentation.
- Support office staff with general clerical duties, such as printing, scanning, and email correspondence.
- Provide basic information to clients and direct them to appropriate departments.
- Ensure compliance with company security procedures and access controls.
- Coordinate office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of an OND or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk officer, or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with office management software and telephone systems.
Salary
- N80,000 – N100,000 Monthly.
