Registered Dietitian

$77,052-$102,264 annual salary

In this role you will:

  • Plan, prepare, and direct dietary activities in licensed areas of a health care facility. Interpret and apply standards related to Dietary Services.
  • Establish appropriate interpretation of physician orders for therapeutic and special diets and review the preparation and service of these diets.
  • Select, train, and evaluate Dietary Service’s staff including cooks, dietitians, and inmate-workers.
  • Inspect food facilities for compliance with sanitary, safety, and housekeeping standards.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Education: Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
