Job Title: Relationship Manager (Commercial Bank)

Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Onboarding:

  • Identify potential clients and develop strategies to onboard them.
  • Conduct market research and prospecting to expand the customer base.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, small businesses, and corporate clients.

Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Ensure client retention by delivering personalized financial solutions.
  • Resolve client queries and complaints promptly.

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Promote the bank’s products, including loans, deposits, credit facilities, and other services.
  • Cross-sell additional products like insurance, investment options, and treasury services.
  • Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.

Financial Analysis & Credit Assessment:

  • Analyze client financials and assess creditworthiness.
  • Prepare and present credit proposals for loan approvals.
  • Monitor and manage loan performance, ensuring timely repayment.

Customer Relationship Development:

  • Conduct regular client meetings to review account performance and identify new opportunities.
  • Build trust and ensure long-term relationships by delivering superior customer service.
  • Organize client-focused events and seminars to strengthen relationships.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Adhere to regulatory guidelines and the bank’s risk management policies.
  • Monitor client accounts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Report suspicious activities in accordance with anti-money laundering policies.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or client relationship management.
