Job Title: Restaurant Accountant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports to: Managing Director

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly financial records.
• Prepare accurate financial statements including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and customer invoicing.
• Monitor inventory levels, cost of goods sold (COGS), and payroll expenses.
• Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
• Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor cost percentage, food cost percentage, and table turnover rates.
• Work with restaurant management to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee point of sale (POS) and accounting system integration.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.

Requirement

• Minimum of 2 years experience as Manager

Salary

• N140,000 – N150,000 monthly.
