Job Title: Risk Management Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose
- To provide risk management support for the Bank by developing risk assessment models and methodologies and putting in place appropriate risk management practices and processes across the Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing risk-assessment models and methodologies across the Bank.
- Assist in carrying out analysis of market trends and forecasting future market trends.
- Assist in designing new risk models as well as modifying existing ones.
- Assist in deploying, testing and continual updates of these models as well as maintaining accurate documentation.
- Assist in defining credit data base to support the models’ needs and performing multi-dimensional analysis and risk reporting.
- Assist in carrying out analysis on expected impact of new and or existing risk assessment models.
- Assist in evaluating and analysing the risk return profile of the Bank’s portfolio.
- Assist in identifying and analysing areas of potential risk to the assets, earning capacity, or success of the Bank.
- Assist in producing reports or presentations that outline findings, explains risk positions, or recommends changes.
- Assist in contributing to the development of risk management systems across the bank.
Requirements
- First Degree in a numerate or Business-related discipline
- Relevant professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Professional Risk Manager (PRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), ICAN, ACCA, CPA etc. and/or a second degree are added advantages.
- Minimum of 3 years cognate work experience in Credit Analysis and Risk Management within the Financial Services Industry.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Mortgage Bank’s operations/services/products.
- Knowledge of Credit Analysis, Administration and Processes
- Knowledge of the Banking Industry and Banking Operations
- Knowledge of Banking products and process
- Knowledge of Operational Risk Management
- Knowledge of Banking applications
- Knowledge of Financial Markets.
