Job Title: Scheduling Support Services Officer
Location: Belema, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract
Roles and Responsibilities
The Scheduler will be responsible for the following:
- Keeps track of the asset FSR (Facility Status Report) and escalate issues where necessary.
- Collaborate with the assigned scheduler, work preparer executor and supervisor on smooth operational demands.
- Produce weekly optimized POB lookahead plans for IAP.
- Orders and maintain minimum stocking levels of chemicals for operations.
- Ensure availability of white products for logistics operational equipment movements across the asset.
- Ensures logistics availability for smooth operations of activities in the field.
- Ensure annual requisition of safety equipment for personnel and minimum stock management.
- Participate in console review meeting, Daily notification and YTT review meetings.
- Collaborates with facility coordinators to ensure the FLB is properly maintained.
- Engage relevant contractors on service delivery as it applies to the FLB.
- Produce and share annual leave plans for the asset with the supervisors.
- Provide other ad hoc supports as deem fit by the business.
Requirements
- Academics: A qualification (HND/Bachelors) in any Discipline.
- Age: < 45 yrs
- Gender: Female/Male
- Start Date 1st April 2025
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 3yrs. Working as a field Scheduler in an oil and gas producing field. Oil and gas industry experience will be an added advantage.
Skills (Added advantage):
- Proficiency in scheduling skills with a competent level in the usage and application of SAP.
- Basic understanding of CMMS architecture and its fundamental application in maintenance.
- Demonstration of a full knowledge of risk prioritization of work request.
- Knowledgeable in planning and integration functional activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft desktop office suites (power point, excel, word and outlook.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to coordinate and anchor business meetings across discipline functions.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Good Communication skills and good organizational abilities.
- Problem solving and good analytical skills.
- The ability to work with tight deadlines and under pressure.
Work Cycle
- The work location is a swamp-field located in Belema
- Work base location is Port Harcourt. You may be required to attend courses in Shell IA PHC or other PHC locations as advised as well as other official assignments
- The job activity period is daily on 12-hour (7am to7pm) routine over a 21-day period.
- There is a standard 3weeks on and 3weeks off schedule.
- The successful candidate will manage own absences with his/her contractor for suitable qualified covers..
- Personnel may be required to work extended hours as need may arises.
