Job Title: Senior Agricultural Sales Engineer

Job Summary

• Our Client seeks a highly experienced and driven Senior Agricultural Sales Engineer to its market entry in Nigeria.
• The successful candidate will supervise two junior engineers, drive field engagement, build a network of agro-dealers and farmers, and provide regular strategic feedback to the head office and distribution team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Companys market penetration strategy in-country.
• Supervise and mentor 2 junior agricultural sales engineers.
• Visit farms, agro-dealers, and cooperatives to promote seed varieties.
• Organize and monitor product trials across key regions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with agro-dealers and key opinion leaders.
• Report weekly progress and monthly summaries
• Analyze competitor activity, pricing, packaging, and product positioning.
• Assist in planning marketing campaigns, demo events, and field days.
• Provide input on product demand and support in forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in agri-input sales (preferably in hybrid seeds).
• Strong network in the local agricultural community.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English and local language(s).
• Willingness to travel extensively within the country.
• Familiarity with digital reporting tools (Excel, Google Drive, WhatsApp, etc.).
