Job Title: Senior Lawyer

Locations: Abuja & Port Harcourt, Rivers

Position Overview

• We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Lawyer with at least 7 years of post-call experience to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have an exceptional advisory skills, and a proven track record of managing complex legal issues including but not limited to:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and other legal documents. Represent the company in legal proceedings and manage disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on current laws and regulations affecting the company.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies to minimize risk.
  • Mentor and supervise junior legal staff.

Qualifications

• A law degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2nd Class Honors, upper division.
• A minimum of 7 years of post-call experience, with significant expertise in employment law.
• Experience in both commercial and litigation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Membership in good standing with the relevant bar association.
