We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Shipping Personnel
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Accompanying the delivery of goods to our customers instructed warehouse within Nigeria.
- Managing updating and monitoring open orders spreadsheet
- Maintaining a record of all communication with Original Equipment Manufacturer and customer in respect of all orders
- Generate reports on Purchase order progress, completion dates and production challenges
- Provide weekly update to our customers in relation to their orders and estimated delivery dates.
- Track orders from placement through delivery.
- Inspect orders upon arrival to ensure the correct quantity and product are supplied.
- Updating goods inventory record.
- Prepare Request for Quotes.
- Any other reasonable tasks as directed by the office managers
Requirements
- HND / BSc in Logistics or related field.
- 3+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain management or transportation.
- Willingness to travel.
- Must be articulate, and have good writing skills
- Able to work from home up to 5 nights a week during deliveries
- Knowledge of expediting and logistics is essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good time-management skills and excellent leadership skills.
