Job Title: Supply Chain Executive

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Position Summary

  • The Supply Chain Executive will be primarily responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of quality materials and services.
  • This role supports the Supply Chain Lead by focusing on vendor engagement, quotation management, and purchase documentation.
  • The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of navigating sourcing challenges in a dynamic business environment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Identify, assess, and pre-qualify suppliers for goods and services in line with company needs.
  • Request, analyze, and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to support informed decision-making.
  • Support vendor selection by providing accurate cost and value analysis for sourced items.
  • Maintain and update the supplier database, including contact details, performance history, and documentation.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive sourcing.
  • Initiate and track purchase requests through approval, PO issuance, and order confirmation.
  • Liaise with Vendors to clarify specifications, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain proper records of sourcing activities, quotations, evaluations, awards and approvals
  • Maintain All the Departmental Operations Trackers
  • Ensure Compliance with internal procurement procedure, guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain All QHSE Standards
  • Work with the Entire Supply Chain Team to ensure achievement of departmental and corporate objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Warehouse, Finance, Technical) to align sourcing efforts with project timelines.

Requirements
Education:

  • Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of sourcing, vendor management, and procurement processes
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
  • Basic understanding of contract and purchase order terms

Minimum Experience:

  • 3 years+ of sourcing or procurement experience
  • Experience in the energy, industrial, or technical services sector is an added advantage

Professional Memberships

  • CIPS (student or Affiliated) or equivalent

Technical Skills & Competence Requirements:

  • Proficient in Use of Microsoft Excel
  • Conversant with ERP Platforms

  • Proactive, with a sense of ownership and urgency
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
