Job Title: Supply Chain Officer

Responsibilities
Process Improvement and Project Management:

  • Lead the identification and implementation of Kaizen projects aimed at improving operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the progress of active process improvement projects, ensuring tasks are on track, deadlines are met, and bottlenecks are addressed.
  • Address any issues or challenges arising during the implementation of process improvements or company-wide changes.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Policy Compliance:

  • Work with management teams to ensure buy-in and the implementation of rolled-out company policies and changes.
  • Prepare and distribute regular updates to stakeholders, including reports on project progress, achieved metrics, and any concerns needing escalation.

Process Auditing and Compliance:

  • Perform periodic process audits to ensure all processes comply with company policies and relevant local regulations.
  • Map out current processes to identify areas for improvement.

Data-Driven Analysis and Feedback Collection:

  • Collect member feedback related to process performance—such as efficiency metrics, error rates, and customer feedback—and use it to drive improvements.
  • Establish and sustain a continuous feedback loop where employees can see the impact of their suggestions.

Training and Development:

  • Organize or lead training sessions for local teams on new processes or tools, providing one-on-one coaching if needed to ensure full team readiness for implementing changes.

Employee Engagement and Recognition:

  • Engage team members in their workspaces, encouraging them to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements, for example, through regular Gemba walks.
  • Contribute to employee recognition programs that reward innovative ideas and successful process improvements.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Ensure all process changes, project plans, and relevant documents are up-to-date, accurately reflecting the current state of operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Complete any other roles assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, or operations, preferably within the logistics or cargo industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Lean methodologies and the DMAIC framework is required.
  • Proven knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (certification is a plus).
  • Familiarity with process automation tools, performance dashboards, and statistical analysis for driving continuous improvement.
  • Project management certification is preferred but not mandatory.
