JOB POSITIONS: Civil Engineer

KEY INFORMATION:

• Civil Engineering Degree,
• From 6 years of experience,
• Energy industry experience required (Oil&Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Offshore…),
• Reinforced Concrete structure experience,
• ANSYS software,
• Right to work in the UK.

LOCATION: Bristol.

EXPERTISE:

• The Civil Engineer will support a small dedicated transverse team within Civil group who provide technical expertise across a number of civil building design teams for the Nuclear Sizewell C New Building Project, being a replication from Hinkley Point C.

The activities will be performed within a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment, sticking to a project way of working with high expectation on delivery time, schedule, safety and nuclear safety.

• Receive Analyse, and verify the consistency of the input data,
• Modifying reinforced concrete structure designs compliant with the ETC-C, other relevant codes,
• Maintaining the client’ QA procedures in delivering the CW design,
• Working and reviewing with the designers in the preparation of the design drawings/models modified,
• Managing engineering changes in line with company procedures,
• Liaise with subject matter experts.

Qualifications:

• Civil Engineering background,
• Good experience with reinforced concrete structure.

Software and Tools:

• Naviswork,3D CAD, Eurocodes.
