Job Title: Team Member – Enterprise Risk Management

Responsibilities
- Ownership of the Enterprise Risk Management Policy, risk processes and implementation.
- Ownership of the Risk Assessment Register and responsible for updates and monitoring.
- Responsible for the Escalation and Investigations tied to Whistle blowing and implementation of the Policy.
- Review of process implementation of limits, tools and Key Risk Indicators monthly.
- Monitor compliance to regulatory and operational requirements.
- Establish and quantify the organization’s risk appetite using the Register and Enterprise Risk Assessment Policy.
- Monitor major and critical issues.
- Maintain Business Continuity plan and give annual updates.
- Monitoring of external indicators and market developments as they affect the Business.
- Review Solvency and Market Risks.
- Manage the implementation of the company’s enterprise risk management framework to ensure compliance with applicable regulations (NAICOM’s enterprise risk management framework) rating agency standards and strategic imperatives of the company.
- Conduct a company-wide enterprise risk management assessment where risk is identified, rated, and control measures are rated.
- Present the risk assessment result to the ERM committee for deliberation.
- Collate the monthly risk champions activity report and present to the ERM committee for their deliberation, after which feedback will be forwarded to all risk champions and all committee members.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Management, Accounting or Economics or related field)
- A Masters’ degree in Business or Risk Management is an added advantage.
- Minimum of five (5) years cognate work experience in the ERM department of a structured financial institution or multinational
- CIIN will be an added advantage
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to show impartiality and zeal to maintain integrity.
