Benin Electricity Distribution Plc. (BEDC) is one of the retail electricity distribution companies licensed by the federal government Benin Electricity Disco (“BEDC” or “Benin Disco”) is one of the successor distribution companies (Discos) created following the unbundling and privatization of the state-owned Power Utility, Power Holding Company of Nigeria Plc. BEDC is responsible for retail distribution of electricity in Delta, Edo, Ekiti, and Ondo States with geographical coverage of 55,770 square kilometers. The company operates from twenty five (25) business districts with approximately 350 offices located across the four (4) states with about 13 million people and about 4 million households.

Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Head of Legal and supporting business operations by doing administrative and technical tasks.
- Processing, typing, editing, and formatting reports and documents.
- Filing documents, as well as entering data and maintaining databases.
- Liaising with internal departments and communicating with the public.
- Arranging and scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
- Assisting with copying, scanning, faxing, emailing, note-taking, and travel bookings.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Office administration, Secretarial Studies, or related role.
- Good years of experience as an Administrative Secretary would be an added advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Computer Packages: Ms Word, Excel, Power Point, and databases.
- Ability to liaise internally and externally on administrative matters.
- Exceptional filing, recordkeeping, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in appointment scheduling and call forwarding systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
