Job Title: Technical Assistant to the CEO

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to support the CEO in driving strategic initiatives, with a particular focus on projects within the finance, mining, and research sectors.
  • This is a dynamic, fast-paced role requiring a combination of analytical acumen, sector knowledge, and the ability to manage complex workflows with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level technical and administrative support to the CEO in day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and project execution.
  • Conduct in-depth research, data analysis, and feasibility studies on finance, mining, and related sectors.
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, reports, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and track strategic projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal departments, partners, and external consultants.
  • Attend meetings, record key action items, and ensure timely follow-up on decisions.
  • Analyze business performance metrics and assist in the development of financial models or investment strategies.

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Mining Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field .
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the finance or mining sector.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with proven ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools e.g., Excel, Power BI and presentation software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of mining industry trends, investment analysis, or commodities markets.
  • Experience supporting senior executives in high-growth or operationally complex environments.
  • Familiarity with Enviromental, Social, Governance and sustainability practices in mining or finance sectors.

Salary

  • N250,000 – N400,000 / Month.
