Job Summary
- The Technical Support Engineer at Ribap Networks Limited will be pivotal in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various equipment and network systems. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team. Additionally, the role involves mentoring and training junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Radio Installation PTP and PTMP: Conduct installation and maintenance of Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) radio systems using Cabium, Unifi, and Mikrotik equipment.
- CCTV Installation: Set up and configure CCTV systems (Hikvision, Dahua), including IP and analog systems.
- Structural Cabling: Perform structured cabling for network infrastructure.
- Site Surveys and Requirement Analysis: Execute comprehensive site surveys to determine installation requirements and prepare detailed requirements and cost estimates.
- Networking Equipment Configuration: Configure Mikrotik routers and switches, Unifi and Cabium radios, and access points as needed.
- Network Management: Oversee and ensure optimal performance and reliability of network infrastructure.
- Customer Support: Provide high-quality technical support to clients, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
- Training and Mentoring: Ability to train and mentor junior engineers, enhancing their technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- ND / HND, BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in radio installation (PTP, PTMP), CCTV installation, and structured cabling.
- Familiarity with Cabium, Unifi, and Mikrotik radio equipment.
- Experience with Hikvision and Dahua CCTV systems.
- Proficient in network configuration and management.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in diverse environments and manage multiple projects.
- Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel to client sites.
- Proven ability to train and mentor junior staff.
