1). Housekeeper

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
  • Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests, to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety.
  • Maintain highest standards of cleanliness in all client and back-of-house areas
  • Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
  • Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties (e.g., in guest rooms and hallway).
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report any security or maintenance issues immediately to Manager.

Qualifications

  • OND in any related discipline.
  • Experience: 1 – 3 years.

2). Night Auditor

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correctness, mathematical accuracy, and proper recording from all the hotel departments.
  • Support Audit & Compliance (A&C) Manager to audit all the hotel departments to ensure proper control as it relates to finance and inventory.
  • Build a strong compliance environment to ensure zero level of policy, procedures and regulatory infractions.
  • Examine re-occurring and non-re-occurring expenditures and financial control systems.
  • Liaise with the Accounts Department and consultant in harmonizing prices of Food & Beverage products for sale.
  • Ensuring sales reports and records are accurate and reliable.
  • Identifying faulty processes and procedures and give advice on adjustments.
  • Preparing Audit Reports and recommendations for the A&C Manager’s review
  • Liaising with the Hotel Manager and presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Work with the A&C Manager to build strong awareness on all policy and procedure issues; zero tolerance for un-reviewed transactions and income leakages.
  • Collating, checking and analyzing stock and purchase items.
  • Establish and maintain a database for food and beverage inventory stock including up-to-date pricing.
  • Coordinate, attend and monitor all food and beverage physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion and cost control measures.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND qualification.
  • 2 -3 years work experience

3). Waiter/Waitress

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort customers to their tables
  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
  • Inform customers about the day’s specials
  • Offer menu recommendations upon request
  • Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software or order slips
  • Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
  • Serve food and drink orders
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, and report any problems.
  • Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
  • Collect bill payments
  • Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
  • Meet with Kitchen staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations
  • Follow all relevant health standards and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests.

Requirements and Skills

  • Possess an SSCE / OND qualification
  • Applicant must be good looking and willing to maintain maximum hygiene
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 1 year waiter / waitress experience.
  • Applicant must be very conversant with cash register and ordering information system
  • Active listening and effective communication skills
  • Team spirit Taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages
  • Making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with restaurant patrons
  • Flexibility to work in shifts.

4). Laundry Attendant

Location: Lagos

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Picking up and delivery of in-house guest laundry.
  • Operate and monitor washing and drying laundry machines, including adding chemicals, cleaning lint traps.
  • Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
  • Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts.
  • Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine.
  • Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
  • Count and verify all items collected as per laundry price lists / laundry sheet signed by the guest and note down any discrepancy or damages on the same sheet.
  • Check all items for damage or stains and take appropriate action to rectify these issues.
  • Report immediately to the Supervisor any valuable items like cash, jewelry, credit cards etc. found in guests cloth pockets.
  • Process the guests clothing on the correct equipment / machines using the appropriate chemicals and temperature.
  • Sort employee uniforms for appropriate action like washing, dry cleaning, pressing or send for repairing to the hotel’s tailor.
  • Report any technical problems, damages or deficiencies to the Supervisor

Requirements
Education:

  • WASC / SSCE / NECO or Equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a hotel Laundry Unit
  • Experience working with Laundry Machines (Washers & Dryers).

Skills:

  • Ability to operate Laundry machines and apply appropriate cleaning chemicals.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
