1). Quantity Surveyor
Location: Gbagada, Lagos
ROLE OVERVIEW:
- As a Quantity Surveyor in the real estate sector, you will be at the forefront of ensuring cost efficiency, accurate estimation, and seamless project execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and estimation for real estate projects, including materials, Labor, and overheads.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare bills of quantities, tender documents, and contracts, ensuring they comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids, negotiate contracts, and manage subcontractor relationships effectively.
- Monitor project progress and expenses, providing timely updates and recommendations for cost optimization.
- Identify potential risks and variations, proposing feasible solutions to maintain project timelines and budget targets.
- Provide expert advice on cost-effective construction methods, value engineering, and procurement strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of cost data, contracts, and project documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in Quantity Surveying within the projects and construction sector.
- Relevant professional certifications (RICS, AIQS, etc.) would be advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management.
- Proficiency in relevant Quantity Surveying software and tools.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
